What is the durability of a SANIPOR® sealing?

  • The sandstone-like, watertight soil-gel conglomerate produced by the SANIPOR® process will adhere to the outer pipe surface. In practice, no shrinkage or ageing can be observed; the micro-structure and the chemical condition are stable. Sanipor is not attacked by oil and oil derivates.
  • The unique "Waterglass" techology creates a bond similar to that of the vitrification process for clay pipes;
  • In the course of the repair the bores around the sewer line will have been refilled; thus, the bedding will be improved and the mechanical resistance to external forces will be improved.
